Ceramic and Clay Tiles

 

Preparation of surface:

  • Tiles to be treated should be free from all dirt, oil, grease and loose particles.

  • Remove excessive grease efficiently with a degreasing agent.

  • Wash tiles, clean with steel brush and 40 grid sandpaper.

  • Ensure grout filing to be clean, free from mould, algae or other growth..

  • B-bond acts as an indicator.

  • If oils and residues occur. B-bond will indicate

  • If B-bond doesn’t stick to surface, scrub and sand B-bond into substrate with wire brush or 40 grid sandpaper.

 

 Note:

  • B-Earth Products must be stirred well before use.

  • Products can be applied by paintbrush, paint roller or spray gun

  • Where artwork is to be painted on tiles, apply B-paint before B-varnish.

 

Application:

  • Apply one (1) coat B-bond as minimum. Allow to dry.

  • Apply B-paint of colour choice. Allow for three (3) coats.

  • Final coat as B-varnish for sealing and glossy finish.

 

Cleaning:

  • Products are water based

  • Clean all equipment thoroughly with water immediately after use.

 

Waterproofing underneath tiles

 

Preparation of surface:

  • Surfaces to be treated should be free from all dirt, oil, grease and loose particles. Remove excessive grease efficiently with a degreasing agent.

  • Clean with steel brush and 40 grid sandpaper

 

 Note:

  • B-Earth Products must be stirred well before use.

  • Products can be applied by paintbrush, paint roller or spray gun

 

Application:

  • Apply one (1) coat B-bond as minimum. Allow to dry.

  • If B-bond doesn’t stick to surface, scrub B-bond into substrate with wire brush.

  • Apply B-seal. Allow for three (3) coats. Final coat as B-paint for protective finish.

  • Do tilling as normal. B-bond can be mixed into grout powder for extra elasticity and as waterproofing.

 

Cleaning:

  • Products are water based

  • Clean all equipment thoroughly with water immediately after use.
